Dear Smile Studio Patients,
After over three decades of providing orthodontic care to families in the Chattanooga community, the time has come for me to retire from clinical practice. I’m looking forward to spending more time with my granddaughter, traveling, and embracing this next chapter with my growing family!
As I step away from patient care, I’m incredibly grateful to have found a practice I trust to continue your care: Scenic City Orthodontics. For the past 15 years, SCO has earned a respected reputation for exceptional treatment, a welcoming environment, and a team that truly puts people first.
I would not be making this transition if I didn’t have full confidence in the care you will receive from Dr. Tyler Prentice and Dr. Jennifer Ryan. Every orthodontic office is different, and I know there may be a few changes as you move from Smile Studio to SCO. That’s why, throughout the summer, I’ll be working closely with Dr. Jen and the SCO team to support this process.
It has been my joy and privilege to serve your family. Thank you for the trust you’ve placed in me. I am proud to pass that trust along to the team at Scenic City Orthodontics!

You’ll receive a link to complete updated paperwork before your next visit. If you prefer, you can arrive 15 minutes early to fill it out in person
Your treatment plan and financial agreement remain the same unless you are notified otherwise
